Approve non-financial Affiliation Agreement with Smith Chason College dba WCUI School of Medical Imaging to allow their Medical Imaging Students to participate in clinical rotations at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for the period of April 9, 2024 through April 8, 2029.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as this Affiliation Agreement (Agreement) with Smith Chason College dba WCUI School of Medical Imaging (Smith Chason) is non-financial in nature.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This non-financial Agreement will allow medical imaging students at Smith Chason to obtain specialized training through clinical rotations at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC).
A major part of ARMC's mission is to provide education to students in a variety of disciplines. As a result, ARMC has a number of agreements with universities and colleges, community colleges, as well as technical and trade schools to provide on-site clinical training for students. This clinical training is necessary for students to obtain their degrees, licenses and/or certifications. The volume and patient population at ARMC will provide a comprehensive education opportunity for medical imaging students from Smith Chason.
