RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept donation of one 2024 Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000, side-by-side off-highway vehicle (Vehicle Identification No. 4XARSU990R8094431), with a total value of $47,756 from the City of Highland.
2. Authorize the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator, Undersheriff, or Assistant Sheriff to execute all necessary documentation to transfer title of the donated vehicle referenced in Recommendation No. 1, subject to review by County Counsel.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The 2024 Polaris Ranger off-highway vehicle (OHV) was purchased by the City of Highland (Highland) for the total amount of $47,756 All ongoing costs associated with the donated vehicle including fuel, insurance, and maintenance, will be funded through the law enforcement services contract with Highland. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's (Department) 2023-24 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
