FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost), as the cost of $1,571,700 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2024-25 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Approval of the Agreement with Garry Jalowka dba Mr. Window Cleaning (Mr. Window Cleaning) will provide window cleaning and power washing services to the campus at ARMC.
Mr. Window Cleaning will also provide annual bird nesting prevention services for all areas requested by ARMC, between the months of November and February. All swallows are state and federally protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. The swallow’s nesting season is from March through September.
