BACKGROUND INFORMATION

In 1985, the San Bernardino Grand Jury recommended that an interagency council be established to study and coordinate services for children in San Bernardino County.  Children’s Network (CNET) was created the following year to improve outcomes for children and their families.  CNET establishes and supports partnerships with other public and private child serving agencies throughout San Bernardino County and beyond.

CNET hosts events for the community including a yearly conference and breakfast.  Court Appointed Special Advocate of San Bernardino County has been designated by CNET to act as a fiscal agent during those events for the collection of registration fees, exhibitor fees, book sales, and purchases of materials, from attendees by providing credit card processing services.
