BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Pursuant to the County of San Bernardino (County) Policy 04-01, the County develops and submits its annual State and Federal Platform (Platforms). Developed in coordination with the County Board of Supervisors, County departments, Board-Governed Separated Entities, and regional stakeholders, the Platforms communicate the County’s legislative agenda for the year.  Additionally, the Platforms are a valuable tool used by the County to assist our legislative delegation in advocating for regional public policy and funding priorities. The Platforms are based on fiscal stability, preservation of local control, efficient service delivery and operations and inter-agency cooperation.
