Recommendation
Adopt amended 2026 San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Annual Meeting Calendar to schedule the February 24, 2026 Board of Supervisors meeting in the City of Highland, 26985 Baseline St, Highland, California, at the Highland Police Department, with Closed Session starting at 7:30 a.m. and the Public Session starting at 8:00 a.m. (Attachment A).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This item will provide for adoption of an amended San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors (Board) annual calendar of meetings for 2026.
On March 1, 2005 (Item No. 86), the Board adopted Ordinance 3944 amending the Meeting Rules of the Board (County Code Section 12.0101) to require the Board to adopt an annual calendar of meetings and to permit a different location for a regular meeting if it is identified in the annual meeting calendar or amended annual meeting calendar.
On September 23, 2025 (Item No. 42), the Board adopted the annual meeting calendar for 2026. The amended 2026 Board of Supervisors Meeting Calendar (Attachment A), which is subject to further amendment by the Board, reflects the change in the meeting time and location for the February 24, 2026 Board meeting to the City of Highland, 26985 Baseline St, Highland, California, at the Highland Police Department, with Closed Session starting at 7:30 a.m. and the Public Session starting at 8:00 a.m.
