Body
COUNTY AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER GOALS & OBJECTIVES
Operate in a Fiscally-Responsible and Business-Like Manner.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $532,800 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2025-26 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The recommended amendment will allow ARMC to revise the Interface Consulting Services table in Attachment B of Agreement No. 25-642 (Agreement) with Multiview Corporation (Multiview). The revision corrects the Interface 6 label from “Interface 6: Strata (Cost Accounting) to General Ledger” to “Interface 6: General Ledger (Cost Accounting) to Strata,” ensuring accurate documentation of the services and interfaces provided under the Agreement.
Multiview’s general ledger and fixed asset systems provide structured, standardized processes for capturing, reporting, and analyzing financial information across hospital departments, supporting accurate financial reporting, operational decision-making, and regulatory compliance. This amendment does not alter the contract amount, the term, or the services provided.
On August 19, 2025 (Item No. 10), as the result of solicitation No. ARMC125-ARMC-5593, the Board of Supervisors (Board) approved Agreement No. 25-642 with Multiview, to provide general ledger and fixed asset systems to interface with various software platforms for the development of patients accounting, financial statements, and accounting of fixed assets in the not-to-exceed amount of $532,800, for a contract period of August 19, 2025 through August 18, 2030.
ARMC recommends approval of Amendment No. 1 with Multiview to correct the mislabeled table entry, as it will ensure that contract documentation is accurate and complete, supporting ARMC’s continued ability to manage financial reporting, accounting of fixed assets, and operational oversight in a fiscally responsible manner.
