RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Find that the Mojave Narrows Regional Park Dry Campsite Path of Travel Project in Victorville is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Section 15301(c)(d), Class 1, Existing Facilities and Section 15303(e), Class 3, New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures.
2. Approve plans and specifications for the Mojave Narrows Regional Park Dry Campsite Path of Travel Project located at 18000 Yates Road in Victorville.
3. Authorize the Director of the Project and Facilities Management Department to advertise for competitive bids for Phase II of the Mojave Narrows Regional Park Dry Campsite Path of Travel Project.
4. Direct the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to file and post the Notice of Exemption for the Mojave Narrows Regional Park Dry Campsite Path of Travel Project as required under the California Environmental Quality Act.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the bid documents and the solicitation of competitive bids will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Mojave Narrows Regional Park Dry Campsite Path of Travel Project (Project) (WBSE 10.10.1402), with a total budget of $803,782, consists of two construction phases.
