RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 22-1011 with Rolling Start, Inc., for Aging and Disability Connection No Wrong Door Liaison services, updating the language clarifying responsibilities, increasing the contract amount by $250,000, from $1,200,000 to a total not to exceed amount of $1,450,000, and extending the contract by an additional year, for a total contract period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The increase of $250,000 is 100% funded by the State Emerging Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) Infrastructure grant. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Aging and Adult Services' (DAAS) 2025-26 recommended budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The recommended contract amendment with Rolling Start, Inc. updates the language clarifying responsibilities and will continue the partnership and infrastructure development of the ADRC No Wrong Door Network by extending the contract for one year, to provide services empowering older adults and people with disabilities to consider all available options, make informed decisions, access community support for needed services, and meet their personal goals for independence.
