RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District:
1. Approve the use of $300,340 from Available Reserves for the purchase and installation of snow depth monitoring equipment.
2. Authorize the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector to post the budget adjustments in the total amount of $300,340 for the purchase and installation of snow depth monitoring equipment, as detailed in the Financial Impact section (Four votes required).

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The San Bernardino County Flood Control District (District) is funded by property tax revenue, fee revenue, and other federal, state, and local funding. The total cost of $300,340 to purchase and install the 15 snow depth monitoring sensors, sensor platforms, and data transmission equipment will be funded with the use of Available Reserves. The necessary budget adjustments are as follows:
