RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve contracts with the following agencies for Substance Use Disorder Perinatal Services, in the combined amount of $8,000,000, for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2026:
1. High Desert Child, Adolescent and Family Services Center, Inc. in the amount of $2,280,615.
2. Inland Behavioral and Health Services, Inc. in the amount of $3,201,125.
3. Inland Valley Recovery Services in the amount of $2,518,260.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The amount of $8,000,000 for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Perinatal Services is funded through Memoranda of Understanding with Children and Family Services and the Transitional Assistance Department, 2011 Realignment, Public Safety Realignment, Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant, and Drug Medi-Cal. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Behavioral Health's (DBH) 2021-22 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
SUD Perinatal Services provide countywide substance use disorder intensive outpatient perinatal treatment services to eligible County residents who are pregnant and/or with dependent children.
