Approve non-financial Affiliation Agreement, including non-standard terms, with San Antonio Regional Hospital to Participate in the Clinical Shadowing Program for High School Students, for the period of November 5, 2024 through November 4, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as this Affiliation Agreement (Agreement) with San Antonio Regional Hospital (SARH) is non-financial in nature.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This Agreement will allow high school students to shadow healthcare professionals at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) through a Clinical Shadowing Program. The Clinical Shadowing Program was established by SARH in conjunction with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools.
A major part of ARMC's mission is to provide education to students in a variety of disciplines. ARMC has a number of agreements with universities and colleges, community colleges, as well as technical and trade schools to provide on-site clinical training for students. The Clinical Shadowing Program will give high school students the opportunity to gain valuable insight into various healthcare careers.
