Approve Quote No. 0EF71F63 and Addendum with Datex Ohmeda, Inc., including non-standard terms, for the provision of service on anesthesia equipment, in the not-to-exceed amount of $133,365, for the two-year period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $133,365 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurance, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2023-24 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This Quote and Addendum will enable ARMC to obtain service for existing anesthesia equipment from Datex Ohmeda, Inc. (Datex) including, but not limited to corrective maintenance, planned maintenance, replacements parts, software updates for equipment, technical phone support, telephone clinical applications support, and remote diagnostic service. Use of anesthetic services and consumables have increased as a result of ARMC achieving Trauma I Accreditation. As such, ARMC's Operative Services Department requests approval of this Addendum to provide more testing on the anesthesia equipment to meet the needs of its patient population....
