RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Memorandum of Understanding No. 24-30 with the City of Chino for the extension of plan check, inspection, and ministerial permit issuance services to include approved annexation area, LAFCO 3268, consisting of approximately 57.6 acres, with no change to the service period of January 9, 2024, through January 8, 2029.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). All costs of processing plan check, inspection, and ministerial permit issuance services are to be paid by the applicant of the development projects, based on the County's applicable fees codified in the County Code section 16.0201 et seq. Sufficient appropriation and revenue to complete this amendment have been included in the Land Use Services Department, Planning Division 2024-25 budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On January 9, 2024 (Item No. 25), the Board of Supervisors (Board) approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Chino (City) for plan check, inspection and ministerial permit issuance services (Services) related to the Yorba Villas Project and other development projects located within a future annexation area consisting of approximately 145 acres.
