Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the Bloomington Recreation and Park District, adopt Ordinance to establish various recreation and park activity fees for Fiscal Year 2025-26 and to repeal Ordinance No. 24-02, which was introduced on March 25, 2025, Item No. 78.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Fees for the Bloomington Recreation and Park District (District) are estimated to generate approximately $33,800 in revenue for 2025-26. The majority of the District's cost for providing services is funded through property tax revenue. Appropriation and revenue related to the fees will be included in the District's 2025-26 Recommended Budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The ordinance to establish various recreation and park activity fees for Fiscal Year 2025-26 and to repeal Ordinance No. 24-02 was introduced on March 25, 2025, Item No. 78. The recommendation before the Board of Directors is to adopt the ordinance on the Consent Calendar.
The ordinance will adopt the fees charged by the District for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The repeal of Ordinance No. 24-02 and establishment of the 2025-26 fees will be effective July 1, 2025.
