RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District:
1. Find that the Big Bear Ranch Court Removal/Renovation Project is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act, Section 15301(l) demolition and removal of small structures and 15301(d) restoration/rehabilitation of deteriorated facilities.
2. Approve plans and specifications for the Big Bear Ranch Court Removal/Renovation Project.
3. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works to advertise the Big Bear Ranch Court Removal/Renovation Project for competitive bids.
4. Direct the Clerk of the Board of Directors to file and post the Notice of Exemption for the Big Bear Ranch Court Removal/Renovation Project as required under the California Environmental Quality Act.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Big Bear Ranch Court Removal/Renovation Project (Project) will be funded through the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District's (BBVRPD) Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget. Sufficient appropriation and revenue exists within the CIP's 2021-22 budget for the Project (WBSE 30.30.0107).
