FINANCIAL IMPACT

Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as there are no financial impacts associated with this item.  The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino (HACSB) is a separate legal entity with an annual operating budget of approximately $156.7 million, which operates on a federal fiscal year cycle.

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Per the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Commissioner Lead the Way Training, a requirement for all Board of Governors (Board), board building is required to provide the Board with information regarding ongoing initiatives of the HACSB’s strategic plan, Moving to Work (MTW) activities, overall agency updates, as well as other initiatives federally regulated by HUD.

 

This month’s board building will be a presentation from HACSB’s research partner, Loma Linda University, regarding research outcomes from our various MTW initiatives.
