RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency, approve non-financial Facility Use Agreement with Inyo County for use of office workspace at the Inyo County facility in Bishop, by one Inland County Emergency Medical Agency Public Service Employee to act as a liaison to Inyo County, effective upon execution by both parties and continuing until terminated by either party upon thirty days written notice.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This non-financial Facility Use Agreement (Agreement) is equally beneficial for both Inland County Emergency Medical Agency (ICEMA) and Inyo County, therefore, no financial relationship is required.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
ICEMA, as the Local Emergency Medical Services Agency (LEMSA), is responsible for ensuring effective Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the San Bernardino, Inyo, and Mono Counties. ICEMA administers State and local codes and regulations governing the provision of emergency medical care to the sick and injured at the scene of an emergency and during transport to a care hospital.
