Adopt Ordinance to grant a revenue franchise to Bear Valley Electric, Inc., which was introduced on October 7, 2025, Item No. 48.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost).  This item has no Net County Cost and will allow the County to proceed with granting an electrical revenue franchise to Bear Valley Electric Service, Inc. (BVES).

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The ordinance to grant an electrical revenue franchise to BVES and repeal Ordinance 1642 was introduced on October 7, 2025 (Item No. 48).  The recommendation before the Board of Supervisors will adopt the ordinance and approve the franchise agreement on the consent calendar.
