RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 4 to Agreement No. 20-1115 with Avante Health Solutions, to add preventative maintenance for additional ultrasound equipment, effective June 11, 2024, and to increase the contract amount by $61,625, from $602,593 to $664,218, with no change to the agreement term of December 5, 2020 through December 4, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $61,625 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2023-24 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Amendment No. 4 (Amendment) to Agreement No. 20-1115 (Agreement) will add preventative maintenance service for additional ultrasound equipment at ARMC's main campus. Services provided by Avante Heath Solutions (Avante) include two scheduled preventative maintenance inspections per year and technical phone support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
