Approve non-financial Software System License and Support Master Agreement with Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc., including non-standard terms, for software licensing and support for patient glucose testing meters, effective from September 12, 2023 through September 11, 2028.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as this Software System License and Support Master Agreement (Agreement) with Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc. (Abbott), is non-financial in nature. Although the Master Agreement includes standard payment terms that would be applicable to any related purchases, the Agreement is non-financial and does not obligate the County to make any purchases.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Agreement with Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc. (Abbott) will provide ARMC with software license and support for the Abbott RALS(tm) Virtual Test System. This software provides an environment to test any software update prior to implementation. Any software update to RALS(tm) needs to be loaded and verified in the test system before it can be migrated to the primary live RALS(tm) system. RALS(tm) is used to interface the Accuchek blood glucose testing results with the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for approximately 110 Accuchek meters in use at ARMC inpatient and outp...
