RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2, effective May 19, 2020, to Revenue Contract No. 18-116 (State Revenue Agreement No. FA-1718-20) with the California Department of Aging for Financial Alignment funds to provide counseling, support, and information regarding health coverage options to dual eligible Medicare and Medi-Cal beneficiaries, updating Exhibits A, B and E which revises the language to be consistent with federal reporting requirements with no change to the amount of $94,779 or contract term of February 15, 2018 through July 31, 2020.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This item is funded with 100% Federal revenue allocated to the California Department of Aging (CDA) for Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) Financial Alignment services. The Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) budget was increased by a total of $21,799 in 2017-18, $51,181 in 2018-19, and $21,799 in 2019-20. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Aging and Adult Services' (DAAS) 2019-20 budget and will be included in the 2020-21 recommended budget.
