RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District, adopt Ordinance to repeal Ordinance No. FCD 25-01 and to establish fees related to products and services for Fiscal Years 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29, which was introduced on March 24, 2026, Item No. 75.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Fees for the San Bernardino County Flood Control District (District) are estimated to generate approximately $1.4 million in revenue for 2026-27. The ordinance will allow the District to establish a fee structure in order to recover costs associated with providing products and services to the public. Appropriation and revenue related to the fees will be included in the District's 2026-27 recommended budget and future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The ordinance to repeal Ordinance No. FCD 25-01 and to establish fees related to products and services was introduced on March 24, 2026, Item No. 75. The recommendation before the Board of Supervisors is to adopt the ordinance on the Consent Calendar.

The ordinance will adopt the fees charged by the District for fiscal years 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29. The repeal of Ordinance No. FCD 25-01 and establishment of District's 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29 fees will be effective 30 days after adoption, but the...
