RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Contract Amendment No. 2, effective October 1, 2020, to Contract No. 18-389 with Mental Health Systems, Inc. for Full Service Partnership services, adding two Master's level clinical case manager positions, and increasing the total contract amount by $176,707 from $9,815,603 to $9,992,310, with no change to the contract period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The increase in the amount of $176,707 for Full Service Partnership (FSP) services will be funded by a one-time allocation from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES) and from Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funding. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in Department of Behavioral Health's (DBH) 2020-21 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
FSP services provided by Mental Health Systems, Inc. (MHS) are designed to support the FSP consumer and the consumer's family/peer support unit by working with the unique challenges faced by an FSP client in the least restrictive manner available. MHS operates the FSP program providing a full spectrum of community services to assist clients in achieving the goals identified in their Individual Services and Supports Plan (ISSP).
