RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 13 to Revenue Contract No. 14-110 with Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. to update hourly rates for the provision of supplemental law enforcement services on a fee-for-service basis for events held at various county locations, and to extend the term by one year, for a total term of March 1, 2014 through June 30, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Actual revenue received under this contract is contingent on the level of service provided. The new hourly service rates for 2025-26, reflected in Schedule A, recover both direct and indirect costs associated with providing service. The Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's (Department) 2025-26 budget includes sufficient appropriation and revenue for public gathering events.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Department contracts with Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. (Live Nation) to provide supplemental law enforcement services for its events (i.e., concerts and electronic dance music festivals) held at the Glen Helen Regional Park Amphitheater. The services provided are performed and priced on an overtime basis and do not impact the Department's regular patrol functions. The contract is amended annually to update the hourly service rates.
