RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District, approve Agreement with the City of Redlands, which ends upon completion of the project and final payment, in the amount of $2,150,000, to develop and construct the Mission Channel Triple Box Culvert Project on the northwest portion of the intersection of California Street and Redlands Boulevard in the City of Redlands.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The San Bernardino County Flood Control District (District) is funded by property taxes, fees, and other local, state, and federal funding. The City of Redlands (City) will act as the lead agency and will advance all funding for the Mission Channel Triple Box Culvert Project (Project). The total estimated cost of the Project is $4,300,000, including design, inspection, materials testing, construction management, environmental permitting, utility relocation, contingencies, and construction. The District's share is 50% of this amount, not to exceed $2,150,000. This expense will be funded by property tax revenue.
