Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement No. 20-143 with HealthStream, Inc. for addition of the hStream Federated Access Management Single Sign On service, with no change to the total amount of $2,367,928 or the term of April 1, 2020 through June 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total agreement cost of $2,367,928 will be funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2023-24 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The recommended amendment will provide Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) the ability to use the hStream Federated Access Management Single Sign On (SSO) add-on, which is a new service from HealthStream Inc. (HealthStream) available for no additional cost. HealthStream is the Learning Management System (LMS) used for staff training, regulatory and compliance tracking, education electronic record keeping and reporting at ARMC.
