RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2, effective August 26, 2020, to Service Agreement No. 20-99 with Agiliti Imaging, Inc., to remove preventative maintenance service of Siemens Polystar equipment, decreasing the contract amount by $241,775, from $3,527,250 to $3,285,475, with no change to the contract expiration date of April 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as this will result in a decrease of costs of $241,775 over a five-year period.
Savings for maintenance service, parts and labor under the Service Agreement Amendment will be according to the following schedule:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Approval of this recommendation will allow ARMC to operate in a fiscally responsible and business-like manner through cost reduction from the removal of equipment in the Medical Imaging Department that is no longer operational or needed. ARMC has radiographic equipment from various manufacturers as well as nuclear medicine equipment that are all serviced by Agiliti Imaging, Inc. With the removal of the Siemens Polystar equipment from ARMC Medical Imaging, the service contract amount with Agiliti Imaging, Inc. will be reduced on an annual basis, totaling $241,775 over five years.
