RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve non-financial Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Claus, Inc., to receive donated items, not to exceed $10,000 per year, for eligible families participating in the Black Infant Health Program for the period of December 3, 2024 through December 2, 2025.
2. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Health to accept and execute any subsequent non-substantive amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding related to Santa Claus, Inc., on behalf of the County, subject to review by County Counsel.
3. Direct the Director of the Department of Public Health to transmit all non-substantive amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding in relation to Santa Claus, Inc., to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors within 30 days of execution.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The donation of items from Santa Claus, Inc. will have a value of up to $10,000 for the year, and will be utilized for families participating in the Department of Public Health's (DPH) Black Infant Health (BIH) program.
