Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to non-financial Memorandum of Understanding, Contract No. 22-1010, with Rolling Start, Inc. to continue partnering on the development and implementation of an Aging and Disability Resource Connection No Wrong Door System to assist older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers in navigating Long Term Services and Supports, extending the contract for an additional year for a total contract period of July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Memorandum of Understanding, Contract No. 22-1010, (MOU) with Rolling Start, Inc. does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as this item is non-financial in nature.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The recommended Amendment No. 1 to the non-financial MOU will allow the Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) and Rolling Start, Inc. to continue their partnership to operate as an Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) for an additional year through June 30, 2026. Through this partnership, DAAS and Rolling Start, Inc. will use ADRC grant funding to continue implementation of a local ADRC and No Wrong Door System, as defined in Welfare and Institutions Code section 9121(b).
