RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of County Service Area 70 BL (Bloomington):
1. Approve Addendum No. 1, issued on January 20, 2026 and Addendum No. 2 issued on February 4, 2026 to the bid documents for the Bloomington Sewer Expansion Project.
2. Award Construction Contract to All Cities Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $2,249,535.60, with a contract duration of 190 days, for the Bloomington Sewer Expansion Project.
3. Authorize a contingency fund of $224,953.56 for the Bloomington Sewer Expansion Project.
4. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works to order any necessary changes or additions in the work being performed under the construction contract with All Cities Engineering, Inc., for a total amount not-to-exceed $124,976 of the $224,953.56 reserved for verified quantity overruns, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20142.
5. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works to accept the work when 100% complete, and to execute and file the Notice of Completion.
