RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept donation of one 2025 Honda Pioneer 1000-6, side-by-side, utility task vehicle (Vehicle Identification Number 1HFVE0843S4200015), with a total value of $28,644.18, from the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
2. Authorize the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator, Undersheriff, or Assistant Sheriff to execute all necessary documentation to transfer the title of the donated vehicle referenced in Recommendation No. 1, subject to review by County Counsel.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The 2025 Honda Pioneer 1000-6, side-by-side utility task vehicle (UTV), was purchased by the City of Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga) for a total amount of $28,644.18. The UTV was purchased with Rancho Cucamonga's Fiscal Year 2022 Homeland Security Grant funds. All ongoing costs associated with the donated vehicle, including fuel, insurance, and maintenance, will be funded through the law enforcement services contract with Rancho Cucamonga. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's (Department) 2025-26 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
