RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve agreement with the Regents of the University of California on behalf of its UC Cooperative Extension for San Bernardino County (UCCE) for the provision of research and educational programs in the amount of $77,500 for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
2. Authorize the UCCE to continue to use approximately 2,937 square feet of space owned by the County of San Bernardino located at 777 East Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this agreement will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total cost of the program to the County of San Bernardino (County) is approximately $164,500, to include $77,500 for the cost of educational programs and in-kind support of $87,000 for the continued use of County-owned space, which includes rent, utilities, maintenance, and janitorial services. The in-kind support costs for the continued use of the space are included in the Agriculture/Weights & Measures 2019-20 budget. Appropriation of $77,500 for the cost of research and education programs is included in the following departments' 2019-20 budgets:
