RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve contracts with the following organizations for the term of November 5, 2025, through April 30, 2026:
1. California Inland Empire Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America, for sporting equipment, in an amount not to exceed $1,923.
2. We Can Fish, Inc., for a fishing event, in an amount not to exceed $1,200.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not require the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total amount of $3,123 is funded by the Fish and Game Propagation Fund, which is a portion of the revenue collected by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife from fish and game violations. Adequate appropriation and revenue are included in the Regional Parks Department's (Department) 2025-26 budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The California Inland Empire Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America (CIEW), is an organization aimed at providing scout activities, camps, and life skills for youth. CIEW's purpose is to help youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

We Can Fish Inc. is an organization that focuses on creating opportunities for children with developmental/intellectual disabilities to experience the joy of fishing.
