RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 18-904, including a non-standard term, with The Counseling Team International for the provision of psychological services, increasing the contract amount by $360,000, from $3,080,000 to a new total amount not to exceed $3,440,000, and extending the term by six months, for a new contract period of January 1, 2019, through June 30, 2024.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the 2023-24 budgets for the departments listed below. The anticipated costs for the six-month extension are as follows:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Counseling Team International (TCTI) provides psychological services to the District Attorney, San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, Human Resources, Probation and Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator (Sheriff) (collectively Departments) related to pre-employment screening, critical incident stress debriefing, and 24-hour trauma intervention.
