RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 23-524 with Loma Linda University, Department of Occupational Therapy, revising the contract invoicing terms, with no change to the contract amount of $1,370,000 or to the total contract period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The contract amount of $1,370,000 for occupational therapy consultation services of which approximately $1,100,000 is funded by the Administration for Children and Families and approximately $270,000 is funded by the Mental Health Services Act, through an existing Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Behavioral Health. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Preschool Services Department (PSD) 2025-26 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
PSD operates the Early Head Start, Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership, Head Start, State General Child Care and Development, and State Preschool programs.
