RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to Software Subscription License Agreement No. 21-416 with CBORD Group, Inc., to license software for meal planning for hospital patients, increasing the contract amount by $54,666, from $155,610 to $210,276, and correcting the term of the Agreement to commence on July 1, 2021 and continue in effect until June 30, 2025, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, upon mutual agreement of the parties.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $54,666 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2023-24 budget and is included in the 2024-25 recommended budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Approval of Amendment No. 2 (Amendment) to Agreement No. 21-246 (Agreement) with CBORD Group, Inc. (CBORD) will allow ARMC to continue to provide quality nutrition care for patients.
