Approve Contract with ASCO Power Technologies to provide maintenance and repairs of automatic transfer switches in a not to exceed amount of $248,829, effective October 22, 2024 through October 21, 2029.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total cost of $248,829 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurance, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2024-25 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
ARMC uses Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) to ensure the continuous delivery of electrical power across its facilities, essential for critical operations such as lighting, computer systems, and medical equipment. ATS assemblies provide an automatic transfer between primary and alternate sources of power when there is a failure or disruption in the primary source.
