California Environmental Quality Act Finding and Specifications for the Citrus Street and Other Roads Project - Phase I

RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Find that the Citrus Street and Other Roads Project - Phase I is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations Section 15301(c) Class 1 (existing facilities) and Section 15302(c) Class 2 (replacement or reconstruction).
2. Approve the Citrus Street and Other Roads Project - Phase I as defined in the Notice of Exemption.
3. Approve the specifications for the Citrus Street and Other Roads Project - Phase I, as signed and sealed by a registered civil engineer.
4. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works to advertise the Citrus Street and Other Roads Project - Phase I for formal bids.
5. Direct the Department of Public Works to file and post the Notice of Exemption in accordance with California Environmental Quality Act.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). It is anticipated the Citrus Street and Other Roads Project - Phase I (Project) will be funded with Senate Bill 1 (SB1) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) revenue, County Infrastructure General Fund Reserve (Reserve), and by the City of San Bernardino. The Department of Public Works (Department) will return to the Board of Supervisors (Board) to request any necessary budget adjustments and to allocate funding...
