Approval of this item will have no financial impact as it merely provides clarification to the side letter agreement approved on March 10, 2020 (Item No. 62).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On March 10, 2020 (Item No. 62), the Board of Directors (Board) approved the establishment of a pay differential for Firefighters who are assigned to perform telestaff duties for the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (SBCFPD). These are additional duties beyond those expected of the classification. Recently, the San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters IAFF, Local 935 reached out to representatives of SBCFPD seeking to meet and confer to clarify the payment of the telestaff differential.
