RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the submission of the 2026 Non-Competing Continuation Progress Report to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, to receive continued funding from the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A HIV Emergency Relief Project Grant, which includes the increased amount of $224,363 from $9,460,867 to $9,685,230, for the period of March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Submission of the 2026 Non-Competing Continuation Progress Report (Report) to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will allow the Department of Public Health (DPH) to continue to receive Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A HIV Emergency Relief Project Grant (Ryan White Part A) funding, up to $9,685,230, for the period of March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027. Ryan White Part A funding does not require a local match. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in DPH's 2025-26 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
