RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 22-310 with Abundant Living Family Church - High Desert for the provision of non-emergency transportation services for individuals recently released from the County's High Desert Detention Center, increasing the original amount by $1,966,725, from the original amount of $820,374 to a new not to exceed amount of $2,787,099, with no change to the original term of April 26, 2022 through April 25, 2026, with the option to extend the contract term for an additional one-year period.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The proposed increased amount of $1,966,725, from the original Contract No. 22-310 (Contract) amount of $820,374 to a new not to exceed amount of $2,787,099 is funded utilizing Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator (Department) Assembly Bill 109 (AB 109) funding as approved by the Community Corrections Partnership in 2022. Sufficient appropriation is included in the Department's 2023-24 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
