RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Inter-Region Cooperative Agreement between the counties of the California's Governors' Office of Emergency Services Mutual Aid Region I and Region VI (Counties of Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Imperial, Inyo, Mono, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego), the neighboring Counties of Kern and Monterey, and the Cities of Long Beach and Pasadena) allowing for assistance among the participating counties and cities related to providing for emergency medical and health disaster services, personnel, equipment and supplies, effective upon its execution by two or more counties until terminated.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This agreement, which allows for mutual aid assistance among the participating counties and cities through requesting/providing emergency medical and health disaster services, personnel, equipment and supplies, will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The agreement identifies that the requesting county or city shall be financially responsible for costs incurred by the providing county or city.
