RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of County Service Area 70 M Wonder Valley:
1. Declare Equipment No. 051908 a 2012 John Deere Motor Grader (Vehicle Identification Number 1DW672GXKCE644116), with an estimated value between $80,000 and $110,000, as surplus and no longer capable of meeting the needs of County Service Area 70 M Wonder Valley.
2. Authorize the sale of the surplus fixed asset identified in Recommendation No. 1, to be coordinated through the County Purchasing Department - Surplus Property Division.
3. Authorize the Director of Fleet Management to execute all necessary documentation to transfer title of the surplus fixed asset.
4. Authorize County Service Area 70 M Wonder Valley to retain the proceeds from the sale of the surplus fixed asset identified in Recommendation No. 1 and deposit such proceeds into the Wonder Valley Operating Fund to repay loan used to purchase new motor grader.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Proceeds from the sale of the 2012 John Deere Motor Grader (Equipment), with an estimated value between $80,000 and $110,000, will be received by County Service Area 70 M Wonder Valley (CSA 70 M) for use in repayment of a $280,000 loan to CSA 70 M for purchase of the new motor grader.
