RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Accept a grant award from the Children and Families Commission for San Bernardino County in the amount of $1,086,537 for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Breathmobile(r) Program.
2. Approve funding agreement with the Children and Families Commission for San Bernardino County, for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Breathmobile(r) Program, in the amount of $1,086,537, for the period of August 25, 2020 through June 30, 2023.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of these recommendations will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the grant award of $1,086,537 provides funding for certain Breathmobile(r) Program services provided to children ages five and under. Expenses for services provided to children over five years of age are funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurance, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Sufficient appropriation and revenue is included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2020-21 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
