RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority, approve the contract with Instructure, including non-standard terms, to provide training software services for Care Providers, in the amount not to exceed $58,142, for the period of September 24, 2024 through September 23, 2027.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item will not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total amount of this contract will not exceed $58,142 and will be funded 50% State and 50% Federal funds. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority (IHSS PA) 2024-25 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
IHSS PA is responsible to provide training to IHSS PA Care Providers. The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) facilitated this training to Care Providers by providing the Canvas training software through the Career Pathway Program (Program).

The Canvas training software was an essential part of IHSS PA's progress in making it possible to continue providing training to Care Providers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
