RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District:
1. Declare the following equipment that is fully depreciated as surplus and no longer meets air quality requirements, has reached its service life, and/or is no longer necessary to meet the needs of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District and has been replaced:
a. Equipment No. 027006, a 2010 Kenworth Dump Truck (Vehicle Identification Number 1NKDL50X8AJ266296) with an estimated value of $25,000.
b. Equipment No. 028900 a 2009 GMC Dump Truck (Vehicle Identification Number 1GDP8C1G99F409415) with an estimated value of $25,000.
2. Authorize the sale of the fixed assets identified in Recommendation No. 1, to be coordinated through the Purchasing Department, Surplus Property Division.
3. Authorize the Director of Fleet Management to execute all necessary documentation to transfer title for the surplus fixed assets identified in Recommendation No. 1.
4. Authorize the San Bernardino County Flood Control District to retain the proceeds from the sale of the surplus fixed assets identified in Recommendation No. 1, and deposit such proceeds into the Flood Control District Equipment Fund to offset costs of future equipment purchases.
