The 2022-23 contract amendments for the 14 cities and towns totaling $191,242,129, are detailed on Attachment 1. This amount reflects an increase of $6,838,972 from the previous year, primarily due to negotiated salary increases and changes to service levels as requested by the cities of Big Bear Lake, Hesperia, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, and Yucaipa. The Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator (Department) has included revenue in the amount of $189,700,000 in the 2022-23 budget based on existing law enforcement contract service levels. Approval of the necessary budget adjustments for the position additions/deletions referenced below are not requested at this time, but will be included on the Mid-Year Budget Report presented to the Board of Supervisors (Board) for approval.
