RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve Capital Improvement Program Project No. 24-062, in the amount of $2,677,953, for the 412 West Hospitality Lane Upgrades Project in San Bernardino.
2. Authorize the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector to post necessary budget adjustments for the Capital Improvement Program Project to the 2023-24 budget as detailed in the Financial Impact section (Four votes required).

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) in the amount of $2,677,953 for the 412 West Hospitality Lane Upgrades Project (Project). On December 13, 2022 (Item No. 70), the Board of Supervisors (Board) approved the acquisition of the 52,000-square-foot, three-story building, built in 1981, and located at 412 West Hospitality Lane in San Bernardino. As a result of this acquisition, the department identified required improvements and therefore, is requesting the use of the Building Acquisition Reserve in the amount of $2,677,953 for Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Project No. 24-062.
The Department requests the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector post the following adjustments to the 2023-24 budget:
