RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution updating the County of San Bernardino's Designation of Applicant's Agent Resolution for Non-State Agencies to be filed with the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain financial assistance from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services and the United States Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency in a declared disaster.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On July 25, 2017 (Item No. 19), the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2017-162 to update the Designation of Applicant's Agent Resolution for Non-State Agencies for federal and state aid disaster assistance claims submitted by the County of San Bernardino (County). The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) requires that a new resolution be filed by non-state disaster assistance recipients triennially from the last date of approval.
